Undefeated super featherweight prospect Kamil Laszczyk (6-0, 5 KO), who has recently taken the holidays to visit family in Poland, has no more time for leisure. He has already begun preparation for his first bout in the new 2012 year, which is scheduled for January 28th, 10 days after his planned arrival to America.

WBC International heavyweight champion Mariusz Wach retained his position in the new World Boxing Council rankings. The WBC placed him right before another Polish heavyweight, Tomasz Adamek, who is currently ranked #10. The new rankings were released on Wednesday, December 14th - the day of Mariusz Wach's birthday.
