UFC targeting ‘TUF: Australia vs. U.K.’ for 2012, eyes Brisbane for finale
While Brazil has been awarded the first-ever international edition of "The Ultimate Fighter," Australia may not be far behind.
At a Thursday press gathering Down Under, UFC managing director of international development Marshall Zelaznik said the company is "close" to securing a deal for "TUF: Australia vs. U.K."
If signed, the series would likely film in Australia later this year, and Brisbane's Brisbane Entertainment Center has been earmarked to host the finale.

UFC on FX 1 preview: Could Miller or Guillard jump right back into title picture?
Lightweights Jim Miller and Melvin Guillard were part of a small group with extended periods of
success this past year and under consideration for a title shot. But
there was logjam at the top of the division that kept them from rising.
Now, that logjam is cleared. Frankie Edgar defended his belt at UFC 136. Unfortunately, both Miller and Guillard failed to clear a final hurdle that likely would have put them in contention.
But could the winner of a Friday night headliner between the almost-contenders produce the next challenger to the lightweight belt?

Christian Morecraft’s UFC on FX 1 game plan inspired by Lex Luger, Wrestlemania
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Perhaps Christian Morecraft is coming out of his shell, or maybe he's just been with the UFC long enough now to know what his bosses and fans want.
A well-rounded big man with proven power, Morecraft's next test comes Friday in a UFC on FX 1 main-card bout with fellow heavyweight Pat Barry.
Both are coming off losses, and a victory is probably mandatory for job security. Just don't expect Morecraft to change the way he handles his business.

After facing Anderson Silva, UFC on FX 1’s Camoes prepared for unknown
If you go toe-to-toe with Anderson Silva for more than 25 minutes on the
first night of your professional career, anything that follows will
likely seem like an appealing and conquerable task.
Fabricio Camoes lasted 25 minutes and 14 seconds against the current UFC middleweight champion. He was just 18 years old at the time the pair fought in Brazil.
So whether Camoes' next opponent was destined to be Reza Madadi or Tommy Hayden, his train of thought is always going to be, "Okay, that's fine. At least it's not Anderson."

If you’re entertained, UFC on FX 1 fighter Pat Barry’s job is done
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - By the time Pat Barry got to the locker room, he was over getting knocked out cold by Cheick Kongo. Same when he tapped to Stefan Struve's triangle choke.
"I ask all the people that was wondering why I wasn't still upset about those losses, I ask them, 'How come you're not still pissed off about failing a math test in sixth grade?'" Barry told MMAjunkie.com.
The point is, get over it.
