Ward stops Dawson in 10

WBA/WBC super middleweight champion Andre Ward (26-0, 14 KO’s) recorded a tenth round TKO over WBC light heavyweight champion “Bad” Chad Dawson (31-2, 17 KO’s) on Saturday night at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. Dawson found himself on one knee in the 3rd, dropped again in the 4th, and never really got momentum going. At the 2:45 mark of the 10th round, Ward dropped him for good with an ending flurry.

WBC lightweight champion Antonio DeMarco (28-2-1, 20 KO’s) defeated John Molina (24-2, 19 KO’s) by 1st round TKO.

Malik Scott (35-0, 12 KO’s) defeated Bowie Tupou (22-2, 16 KO’s) by 8th TKO (Doctor’s Stoppage).

Ricardo Williams, (20-3, 10 KO’s) defeated Anthony Lenk, (14-2, 7 KO’s) by majority decision (58-56, 58-56,  and 57-57).

Franklin “Yah Yah” Lawrence, (18-2-2, 13 KO’s) defeated Homero Fonseca, (9-6-3, 2 KO’s) by 7th round TKO (Doctor’s Stoppage).

Tony Hirsch, (13-5-2, 6 KO’s) defeated Roberto Yong, (5-6-1, 4 KO’s) by unanimous decision (40-36, 40-36, and 39-37).

Randy Guerrero and Juan Urbina fought to a majority draw of debuting fighters.
