Global Boxing is proud to announce the formation of the Global Boxing Foundation.

The Foundation aims to provide opportunities to amateur boxers in Poland to continue their successes outside of their home country and onto the world stage.
With plans underway to create a gym similar to their spacious 16,000 square foot New Jersey facility in Dzierzoniow, Western Poland, Global Boxing intends to organize training camps and talents to cultivate homegrown talent.

By focusing young people’s energies on positive, uplifting activities, Global Boxing hopes to improve the community. In addition, Global Boxing will introduce a “Drug and Crime Addiction Recovery Program” to target troubled young people in need of rehabilitation.

Professional boxing contender and well-known coach Piotr Wilczewski serves as head trainer for the program.

GLOBAL BOXING FOUNDATION SUPPORTS TARNOVIA BOXING CLUB
North Bergen, NJ (June 11, 2013) - While overseeing the renovation of a training facility in Dzierzoniow, Poland, Global Boxing Foundation is getting involved with a new project. The Foundation will support Tarnovia Boxing Club in their efforts to create a professional place for young athletes from Southern Poland to develop their boxing skills.
"It's an honor to work with such professional and prestigious business partner as Global Boxing Foundation. We're happy that Mariusz Kolodziej agreed to support our project and that he is willing to promote our talented fighters not only in their home country, but also abroad, " said Pawel Roczniak, President of Tarnovia Boxing Club.
Tarnovia Boxing Club was established in 2008 by Beata and Aleksander Maciejowski. Its goal is to keep at-risk youth off the streets while creating a safe haven for them to pursue their dreams, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle among troubled children. Membership in the club is free; the only way the organization makes profit is through sponsorship.
According to Mariusz Kolodziej, President of Global Boxing Foundation, the reason for undertaking this project was simple. “Our organizations share the same goals: we want to give children opportunities to expand, excel and enjoy their interests, to encourage sportsmanship, and to give talented young people a chance of succeed in the world of boxing. If we combine our efforts, we have a better chance of accomplishing our goals,” said Kolodziej.
The partnership will officially begin on June 29th, as Kolodziej donates some boxing equipment to Tarnovia Boxing Club.
